Reflective Consultation
Cooper House provides ongoing Reflective Consultation to prenatal-to-five providers to promote the long-term wellbeing of children and the staff who work with them. Our goal is to nurture providers’ reflective capacity and attunement to child and family needs, and to increase their sense of effectiveness and satisfaction in their work
Reflective consultation is built on the establishment of a trusting relationship between consultant and consultees so it is typically a long-term commitment, meeting bi-monthly or monthly for 60 minutes-90 minutes. We can provide individual as well as group consultation. We look forward to working with you to customize the Reflective Consultation group size, length, and frequency to meet your needs.
Our current clients reflect a diverse group of prenatal to five providers including:
Social workers who serve children in foster care in Washington State
Early intervention teams who serve children aged 0-3 years old with developmental delays
Parent Child Home Program team
Nurses who are working with young, low-income mothers pregnant with their first child
